These past four years, people have become too comfortable being okay with racism. I’m tired of the way African-Americans in this country get wrongfully treated by police. I’m tired of hearing about kids being bullied because of the color of their skin, in the same schools I went to growing up. I’m tired of people choosing to look past every racist thing 45 has said, just because they agree with one or two of his policies. I want my kids one day to be able to grow up in a better world, and joining organizations like ARCC is the first step to achieve the goal. Human rights and equality are things that we should all agree on in this country, no matter your political party.
