Halloween At Florida State University

It’s Halloweekend at Florida State University — meaning you’ll see cats, policemen, angels, and even Labubus walking down the street on a Monday night, heading to the clubs, knowing dang well they have an 8 a.m. the next morning.
Some have exams next week but still go out. Some might see that as stupid, but honestly, it just shows how dedicated these students are. Many will wake up with hangovers, open their textbooks, and somehow ace that exam the very next day.

Halloween is like the Hunger Games for college students — how far can you push yourself to balance that 4.0 GPA and a social life?
Some are lucky and already took their exams the week before. Not saying the professors did that on purpose, but on behalf of every student, I’d like to personally say: thank you.

When we were younger, Halloween was just one day out of the year — one costume, one night. Now? One costume won’t cut it. You need at least three if you’re only celebrating over the weekend. But for the overachievers who start on Monday? That’s six outfits minimum.

So to all the college students this week: good luck, and may the odds be ever in your favor.
