I have ben a fan of Dr. King since I was a Kid, and his theology is what lead me to a late career commitment to ministry. Bt the scales fell from my eyes when George Floyd was murdered by a cop in my part of Minneapolis. I hadn’t done enough with what I knew. I hadn’t worked on Change Right Here. I was distracted by the change needed everywhere else. I now want to make a difference with what imperfect gifts I have. I’m also on the Anti-racism Task Force with the Presbyterian Church (USA), because collectively we are facing the same issues I have individually. I want to do what I can, with what I have, where I am, with the tie I have.
