Talking to Mr. Leggett made me really feel connected to him and feel inspired to join this amazing cause. I’ve known about this organization since I’ve been in middle school and always wanted to be a part of it. I believe in everything this organization is about. It is undoubtable that racism cannot be abolished by simply over looking race or turning your head the other way. Just like we are taught to handle our issues by facing them, we should face racism head on instead of allowing this problem to snowball. There has been immense and beautiful progression over the last century regarding racial inequity that should continue to be fought for. It has been proved that the world thrives when everyone is given equal opportunities and acceptance.
