I have enrolled in the coalition to affect meaningful and positive change in purposefully identifying, discussing and challenging issues of race and color and the impact they have on our institutions, organizations, businesses and personal lives. Hopefully, we will challenge ourselves to understand and correct any inequalities while gaining a better understanding of who we are. I will volunteer to help develop and work to implement strategies that dismantle racism within all aspects of our neighborhood, city, state, and nation. Ultimately it comes down to knowing who you are, where you stand and acting accordingly. The only impact comes when our words are backed by real action and I believe the Anti Racism Commitment Coalition can bring together the resources providing the education, realization and social change we all need.
