I have always had a desire to connect with people of color particularly those who didn’t grow up with the opportunities I had and the experiences I enjoyed. I want to understand that which I couldn’t or didn’t see and provide the support and encouragement to those I now wish to connect with. I want to have relationships with those I never did before. I want to share their world and mine with each other.
