July 4th Special Edition

Celebrate an Anti-Racist Fourth of July with the ARCC

Dear ARCC Members and Subscribers,

As we approach the Fourth of July, a day traditionally marked by celebrations of freedom and independence, it’s crucial to reflect on what freedom truly means for everyone in our country. At ARCC, we believe this day should not only commemorate the signing of the Declaration of Independence but also serve as a reminder of the ongoing fight for true equality and justice for all.

This Fourth of July, we invite you to join us in promoting anti-racist values and actions. Here’s how you can make a difference:

1. Educate and reflect

Take time to educate yourself and others about the history of systemic racism in the United States. Reflect on how our country’s journey towards independence did not extend the same freedoms to everyone, especially people of color.

2. Support businesses owned by individuals from historically marginalized groups

This holiday, support businesses owned by individuals who belong to minority groups that have been historically marginalized. Whether it’s buying from a local shop or dining at a restaurant, your support helps lift up communities that have typically been sidelined.

3. Donate to ARCC

Your support is essential in continuing our mission to combat racism and promote equality. By donating to ARCC, you help fund critical initiatives that help us spread our message of anti-racism. Your contribution allows us to expand our reach and impact.

4. Amplify the voices of people of color

Use your platform to amplify voices that often can’t be heard. Share these individuals’ stories, support their causes, and help raise awareness about the issues they face.

As we celebrate this Fourth of July, let’s commit to making our nation a place where freedom and justice are truly accessible to all. Your support and participation are vital in this ongoing journey.

Thank you for standing with us in solidarity and action.

In unity,

Anti-Racism Commitment Coalition (ARCC)
