CIA is a passionate group of student ARCC members from Key West who come together monthly to tackle some of society's most pressing issues. From topics such as food apartheid and mental health and racism, we speak on the effects of racism and teach Black history.

Before each broadcast, our members conduct research so we’re well-equipped with the facts to dive deeply into our topics. Along with our background research, we bring the topics to life by adding and discussing personal experiences. In particular, we have discussed discrimination in sports, the Israel-Palestine conflict, the challenges of assimilation, the pros and cons of protests, and even disparities in education.

Our goal is to create an accepting, supportive environment where everyone can contribute to tackling major societal issues in a meaningful way. As our members evolve and transition from high school to college, we hope to maintain our current values. We adapt to change and keep our discussion thoughtful, relevant and impactful.
