Community in Action: Why Protest? Are They Impactful?

This month’s event will be centered around white privilege. We will facilitate a discussion and provide personal experiences and examples of when some of us recognized our privilege. The session will begin by discussing the Ted Talk on white privilege, which is linked below. Attendees should watch this video ahead of the event to prepare for the discussion.

We encourage you to have a healthy and open discussion by sharing your personal stories, whether it’s recognizing your privilege or recognizing others. This event will help us learn how to turn our privilege against the racist system in order to dismantle it.
